| What is Pilates? Pilates focuses on strengthening the abdominals and stretching and toning muscles by using very detailed, very precise exercises. It is a muscle conditioning routine. The techniques lengthen and define muscles. Correct breathing is an essential part of the routine.
Who can do it? Anyone! That is anyone who wants to make the most of their body's potential.
What does it involve? These classes involve a variety of floor exercises. Pilates, in some ways, can be seen as the final link for getting the best results possible. When combined with cardio work, weights and good nutrition the results can be sensational. For those struggling to get the "6 pack", you may finally be able to trade that keg in!
What do I need? You will need to bring 2 towels and a water bottle. Please wear comfortable clothing and remember that class sizes are restricted to 20 and look like they are filling quickly.
When can I do it? See our gym schedule, though it is mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays.
